Pound Pass Series

Working our guards through their handle and passing in our pound pass series. We’re training body ball movement. The best players can move with the ball in their hands. This is the first action. Next we get to being able to move and pass the ball, still throwing a strike. Not bad for our first time through it with these guys, but there’s area for improvement. It takes a strong core, strong ball handling habits.

Teaching points: 1. Get under the ball 2. Throw a strike 3. Chest and chin stay up – keep the ball tight to your body We’re looking for precise movements!
