The Point Series contains endless possibilities, mainly because it’s a read based offense. When getting to the split screen, there’s multiple reads that take place to trigger specific action. For example:
If the defense is locking and chasing the offense player receiving the screen, it triggers a tight curl.
If the defense is underneath the offense player receiving the screen, it triggers a pop.
If the defense is switching, it triggers a slip from the screener (we used a thumbs down call for this)
If the point man is denied the entry, this triggers the Point Spin (spin away from the high post, 45 cut the wing, DHO with the lifting corner into a spread ball screen, or Point Fist (ball screen)
