Teaching The Princeton Offense – Golden State Warriors Point Away

Golden State, who consistently ranks as one of the most efficient offenses in the NBA, utilizes the Point Series. Stephen Curry enters the ball just after crossing half court. He sets up the action by taking an angle directly towards the hoop, making it look more like Point Middle. This also flips the angle of his screen in the split, making it more of a true back pick. In turn, this allows for Curry to sprint directly through the nail to receive the DHO from Draymond Green.

Two defenders on the ball triggers a quick pocket pass, creating a two on one with Barnes in the dunker. The help defender stunts, and Green makes the quick decision to throw the pass to Barnes for the dunk.
