Meet The Coach

Meet the coach

NATE HARTMAN

I’m currently building my player development business in Idaho. I was an assistant coach at Benedictine University Mesa, where we set the record the highest win percentage in school history, winning 18 games and clinching a spot in the Cal Pac Tournament. I also worked for Phil Beckner at Driven Basketball. I launched my coaching career at Idaho Falls High School, helping to win the Idaho 4A State Championship as the Varsity Assistant Coach in my second season, breaking a 31 year drought. After four seasons I took the Head Varsity Coaching Position at Middleton High School. In two seasons as head coach, we set multiple school records, including the most single season wins in school history at 25, along with the longest single season win streak in school history at 18. I’ve amassed an .700 winning percentage at the High School level and helped multiple kids achieve scholarships to play at the collegiate level. I was the head coach for the Metro Team at the 2022 Idaho All Star Classic. My burden is to serve others through the game of basketball. I believe in coaching to lead, meaning I coach players and build leaders. I’ve spent time learning from Idaho High School basketball legends and State Champion coaches Howard Hart, Chris Frost and Greg Evans. I’ve been mentored by Hall of Fame coach George Raveling, and have learned from former collegiate coach and current NBA Player Development Coach Phil Beckner.
