Princeton Offense – Point Series – Point Fist
If the Point man is denied, or just to keep the defense honest, Point Fist calls for the Point man to sprint into the high pick and roll. This allows the ball handler to use space to get downhill quickly and attack the rim.
Princeton Offense – Point Series – Point Over
The split happens after the over cut on the entry pass. Three options in the split from the corner man are to curl, reject, or come over the top in the Chicago action. In this clip, the big spins away from the action which triggers the 45 cut and spread ball screen.
Princeton Offense – Point Series – Point Stop
The Point Series has endless possibilities that come from different reads. Here’s a look at Point Stop. We used this for a big to big high low option, or for a mismatch we wanted to attack. Ball enters to the Point man. The brush man, in this case the 4, spins and seals at the front of the rim. Corners stay spaced to eliminate any help. If help does come, the 5 will pass to the corner for the 3.
