Teaching The Princeton Offense – Point Spin

Princeton Offense – Point Series – Point Spin

The Point Series has endless possibilities that come from different reads. Here’s a look at Point Spin. This is a great look when the defense begins to deny the entry into the point man and begins applying additional pressure on the perimeter. It allows you the option to get the ball back to your point guard in the pick and roll after shifting the defense.

– Point Entry (Brush, Push, Wave, Forwards Out).

– Denial triggers the spin dribble, sending the lifting opposite corner through on the 45 cut (can throw the backdoor if it’s there).

– DHO with the brush man.

– Point man follows the DHO and gets into the P&R.
